What I'm loving right now: Texture!

I think texture is one of the most important elements in a room. It can take a space from blah to fab so quickly; from cold to cozy, from stark to lived-in. It's a shame that it is so easily overlooked!

Now, there are the classic standby's like natural fiber rugs (jute, sisal, sea grass, etc.), bamboo roman shades, sheepskin or hide rugs, chunky knit throw blankets and sea grass wallpaper (my fav...I have the Prince's taste on the Pauper's budget!). But how do you keep it updated, fresh and have a little fun at the same time?
Here are some lovely textured objects I've been dreaming of lately.

I love classic sea grass, rush and banana leaf baskets but these Rugby Stripe Bins are great! LOVE the rope handle detail!! These may be the future home of all J and baby P's toys.
How about lighting? These bird cage pendants are gorgeous!

These Agate bookends are so pretty! Little details like this totally make the room.

I recently ordered this Resin Coral tray and it is AMAZING! The detail and weight of this piece are incredible for it's price ($23!!!)

These end tables are beautiful and such a great price, they also come in three colors!!

Love this mirror too, it comes in two sizes/shapes oval or rectangle.

These would be really stunning in a large grouping.....nursery, kids room, home office?

I love the look of coral........
or Sea Sponges on a stack of books.

Most natural textural items are light/neutral colors but for all you color junkies out there, here are some bright textured pieces.

Katie Brown Embroidered Pillow ($5.99!!!)
