Saturday musings

Wow, you guys are the best! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments and emails about our bathroom, I'm definitely feeling the love.

I have an exciting project that I'll be working on in the next few weeks, refinishing a table/desk and chair and a vintage rocking chair that will be up for auction at a fundraiser for a local school. Be watching for the (hopefully) stunning befores and afters, I'm also donating a one hour design consultation!

I've been playing around with the design for our kitchen remodel this week. I'm still not sure if we'll be able to do it this coming spring or if we'll have to wait another year so I'm trying to not get my hopes up. Here's where I'm headed so far, hope you all have a great weekend!!

Love that table - love it with a banquette, too. And where is that rug from? I'm looking for something for my mom's place that is modern mixed with handmade, and that rug has that feeling.

Hope you get to do your kitchen over soon, but I totally understand budget woes. Here's to a drama-free winter!

also, you asked for suggestions for a camera. not sure if anyone gave you any, but i'm a photographer, so i can give you my ideas if you want to e-mail me. but i think your bedroom pics turned out pretty well. you may be able to keep using what you have and just change the settings to improve from what you've been doing... especially if you already have a dslr. love the colors in that room!! oh, and another thing we have in common... we are both christians. and we both have mcm houses. about your "blurry" post... i get that too. used to be an avid blogger. then life got busy {i had a son}. had to take steps back many times. it ebbs and flows, and i have learned to just roll with those changes. when it slows down, i know it will pick back up again at some point. now that i am following your blog, i hope to see more, 'cause i like what i see! but no pressure!! =)

Hi Georgia! Thank you for the camera advice and encouraging words!! I've spent the last 30 min stalking your blog and it's very clear that God brought us together!! I have a friend from church who is 8 months pregnant with a little girl (Faith) with T18. The story of your beautiful daughter was a God send for sure, I'll be passing it along to my friend. Thank you for sharing your story and God Bless!

do happy to hear that. i was on the receiving end of many stories like that when we found out what was wrong with out little girl. so to now know that our story might help or bless another the way others did for us makes me glad... and makes me know that anysia's life continues to have meaning. you can't know what that means to me. thank you for saying so.
